Basics: this training is the way you get your foot in the door of NCBM Disaster Relief. If you've never trained with us before, you're in the right place. It is a 2 day orientation to the Disaster Relief ministry which includes history, policies, procedures, and technical training in the field you choose. If you are currently trained in NCBM Disaster Relief, and your badge is expired by more than 2 years, you will need to take this course again.
Recertification: NCBM Disaster Relief badges expire 3 years after training. You can re-qualify for your badge by attending the Recertification class. If your training is expired over 2 years, you must take the Basic course again. To qualify for Advance courses, you must be current in the Basic course listed on the badge. It is a 1/2 day course. We added a Recert. training class on Friday night so that you can cover the class and pick-up an Advanced course on Saturday. Or, you can Recertify in 2 classes: Friday/Saturday.
Schedule: Check-in begins at 2:30 on Friday. Classes from 4:30 - 10 p.m. We finish on Saturday by 3 p.m. If you cannot arrive for class on Friday by 5:15 p.m. please choose another date and location to participate.
Accommodations: 3 meals (Fri. supper, Sat. breakfast and lunch). This is an OVERNIGHT training. Participants will sleep at the facility/church dormitory style, men and women separated. Bring your cot/air mattress and anything you need for sleeping. We do NOT provide sleep gear, only space! Showers provided.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
