Music/Worship Ministries

The Chime Choir will begin its spring semester rehearsals on Sunday, January 22, at 5:00 PM in the Choir Room. This choir is open to 4th graders through adults and no previous musical experience is required. Contact Josh Gurkin at joshua.gurkin@gmail.com or 919-632-9620 for more information.

The Good News Players is our church-wide drama team comprised of adults, youth and children. This team is active in stand-alone dramas, skits, and musicals which incorporate drama. They rehearse as needed to prepare for upcoming presentations. Led by Mrs. Candy Blackley.

Our Multimedia Team provides sound reinforcement and video presentation for regular worship services and special events. This team is led by Mr. Jimmy Leonard and Rev. Danny Poyner, Jr.

218 Academy is a ministry of our church offering both private and group music lessons to individuals in our church and our community. Current offerings include: piano, organ, voice, guitar, saxophone and creative movement. Other instrument lessons may be available upon request. Lessons are open to all ages - from small children through senior adults. Anyone who wants to learn is welcome!
