Family Life Ministry
This ministry is founded on the belief that God is interested in the whole person–body and spirit. Our ministry seeks to be a vehicle through which God’s redemption and abundant living can be accomplished.
The Family Life Ministry provides enrichment and encouragement in dealing with life issues. This includes marriage retreats, individual seminars, and other family relationship building opportunities. This ministry also focuses on the church family as a body and provides events that encourage church-wide fellowship and growth. Some of these activities include our Valentine’s Dinner, the 4th of July Picnic and our annual Family Fall Festival.
The Family Life Center (aka the gym) is a place where people enjoy coming together to play, have fun, and fellowship. It is a place where children squeal when they shoot a basket; parents and friends cheer regardless of the score; where players shake hands and even hug one another when the game is over. It is a place where smiles are abundant, laughter is loud, and joy is contagious. It is a place where friends are made, faith is shared, and Christ is proclaimed. A place where families, teenagers, children, and adults say, “I was glad when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord” (Psalm 122:1).
